The farm received over eight inches of rain in a two-week period. Ed had to cut some extra ditches to move water out of the fields. This turtle was very happy. 🙂

It looks ready but the ground is not dry. It would also be good if the grass was a little taller. We are distracting ourselves with the garden while we wait.

We don’t leave hay sitting on the field for long. We want to move it to higher ground. We also want to avoid allowing the grass to grow around it; if it did we would crush it with the heavy tractors as we move the hay. Flattened hay is hard to cut! The team keeps […]
