April Showers Bring April Drainage Work
We were happy to get three inches of rain over several days. It’s been a dry spring so far for the farm. Rainy weeks also offer an opportunity to check the drainage ditches while they have water in them. Ed found a couple of high spots that needed leveling.
The Good Kind of Neighbor
Our new neighbor and his son gave up part of their weekend to help Ed re-bale large round bales into small squares and load the bundles onto trailers. Dad is an old hand at hay operations but his son is catching on fast!
